Prospect is a UK trade union. Our 141,000 members are engineers, scientists, managers and specialists in areas as diverse as agriculture, broadcasting, defence, education and childrens services, energy, environment, heritage, shipbuilding, sport, telecoms and transport. We are the largest union in the UK representing professional engineers.

We are an experienced campaigning body. Prospect is non-party political. But our members expertise makes our voice count. On broad issues like energy policy and the quality of public services we bring members views to the notice of key decision-makers such as:
